Blake continued to trot forward, he wasn’t sure if the two were following him. One part of him cared tremendously but the other part of him just wanted to see the sight of those beautiful birds again. His bodice swept in and out of the trees and shrubs as he continued through in attempt to keep the scent of the bird firmly held in his recent memory. His mighty paws clawed at the ground and effortlessly pulled him along as he moved on, his eyes straining on the sky and then returning to the ground in attempt to find his paw prints from before. He came out of the shelter of the trees, a small hill rested ahead of him and he lowered his head with interest. Could this be the same place? Could the walking be over?
He quickly sprinted up the hill and his breath was taken away from him as the magnificent birds filled the valley, squawking and floating with ease in the small wind currents that were invisible to any wolf but easily ridden by these creatures. With each flap of their mighty wings they would be lifted into the air and be able to escape anything that was troubling them, a dream to fly was something that Blake held deep in his heart he knew now, but his body was not meant to do such things, never. He closed his mouth for it was slowly becoming agape with interest. He turned his head to see a bird flying alongside the hill and nearly hit him, the belly of the bird seemingly pushed up against Blake’s back and he gave a bark of recognition to the bird as it joined the group in the air.
A large smile filled the brute’s face and he turned gently in hopes of seeing the two femme’s approaching from the trees, hopefully they would join him to see such magnificent beings for the fun was only beginning. His tail snapped behind him as he stood atop the small hill as it seemed more and more birds were flying above him, some disappeared into the shelter of the trees. They all had the same vague appearance but he saw the difference in their eyes, some had come face to face with death yet some of them still were innocent and loved to live their lives with their families. Young eagles flew alongside their mother while the foolish young ones flew off and out of sight from their parents…Blake wondered if they survived. He had never been able to catch and eagle, he never truly wanted to kill one however he was intruiged to see if running could possibly be flying. He knew he couldn’t fly but if he ran fast enough maybe he could get anywhere just as fast? Blake shook his head, no it was an impossible task…but he would try for he had overcome many things in his lifetime, this would just be one of them that would bring joy to him. Another wind pushed up against his front and pulled away the hairs on his face as he stood there and he moved up to his back paws in seemingly flight. He put his back paws down and waited for the other two…just waited.

Karin had been hesitant on following Blake. After taking few glances at Reia then at Blake she decided to follow and see what he thought they would love. And what the heck. Maybe she would love it. She sprinted through the trees and followed Blake as best she could. Wondering all the more what it was she was going to see. She thought giddily of what it might be. But she didn't know of what she loved the most. All the more she ran faster. Her paws hitting the ground with a light ease and she ducked under a few reached out branches. Until she came to a clearing. She stopped at the foot of the hill and stared up at Blake at the top. He looked so dominent and actually rather happy. Without even thinking she gave him a warm smile and began the hard push up the hill. Coming to the top the sight that came to her made her gasp in surprise.
Birds flying every which way and it seemed like together they were low clouds in the distance. And up close. It was so strange to see them that way. White and black. It was all full of life and the- almsot- first wide smile grew across her muzzle. "I wish Finn could see this." she muttered happily. If Finn was here to see this...she wondered if he would like it as much as she was at the moment.

It seemed like Blake was just mesmerized by the beauty of the mighty birds, they lived together in harmony like everything should; it seemed that these birds had everything together in their minds. He was eager to run down into the field and fly with them, to run in their shadows and bark to their calls but he didn’t he needed to wait for the other two, at least for some time, he knew that both would be interested for he had said it in a pleasing manner, plus they both seemed rather bored so it would be something for them to do. He barked out to them and not one of them turned their heads to him, they didn’t care for his presence this was their territory even if he was the top wolf in it. They were aware of him and knew that if he tried something unintelligent like attempting to attack them then they could all join forces and leave Blake nothing but a carcass. But Blake was not an unintelligent creature and had such respect for these creatures.
He took at step forward as he was beginning to get tired of waiting for the other too and was beginning to have his doubts about them following them. He turned his head behind him to hear someone approaching and he smirked gently to see Karin approaching from behind, a look of interest covered her face and he realized that she couldn’t see the magnificent birds flowing over the meadow, together as one. He kept his position and continued looking at her face, the moment she saw it he knew for her eyes lit up just like his. She was amazed and dumbfounded from the community in which she saw, it amazed him just the same. His head was still turned to her as he watched the young one’s eyes, she had seen such creatures from afar but now as they seemingly flew feet away it was something that one had to take in. He hoped that her Reia would like it just the same, he was worried now however that he didn’t see her approaching from behind Karin…but he decided it was best to wait for she could have simply fallen behind.
He tilted his head back in the direction of the birds and his ears twitched lightly at the mention of this Finn. It seemed that Karin already had a home and he was fine with that, but it was such a coincidence that she was from the home of Finn, this was probably his only fae that he owned, a sincere shame it was now he was all alone, to think, if Karin stayed Finn would be alone forever. He didn’t mind such a thought, it wasn’t that Finn was his enemy but it was just friendly competition between them as pack leaders, if Finn needed anything Blake would be glad to help, but for that moment it was all in the competition and getting faes, which meant control and power. He continued to fix his eyes out on the birds, “You live with Finn do you? I came across him and we didn’t get along well, I wasn’t in the best of moods that day however,” Blake said remembering what he had said and did. If he could he would apologize, he decided to ask her to do so. “If you could, could you tell Finn, that Blake is sorry for his actions?” He nodded gently in hopes that she would agree and silence fell down on them for a moment or two. “By the by, where did Reia run off to,” he asked frowning gently and looking behind Karin to see if Reia was approaching or not.

Karin watched the birds flutter around and for the first time she thought she actually liked the silence that she and Blake shared. She usually didn't like silence. As she forgets that they are there, but he was rather close to her so that was covered. Standing side by side with Blake gave her an invisible blush, but it dissapeared as long as her eyes were on the birds. She still had a wide smile on her face, but frowned as Blake spoke.
He knew Finn? But that was not what had got her attention the most. Her frown deepened and she looked up at Blake, curiouse as to his bad mood. Finn was a rather nice guy, how could you get get in a bad mood around a light? It didn't make sense to her but, oh well. Then he spoke again and the smile returned. She nodded in a silent promise to tell Finn he was sorry. She was about to ask him a question when he spoke.
Karinturned around slightly and looked through the tree. A frown grew on her muzzle and she also worried about Reia. But she had almsot forgotten after sighting the birds. "I don't know," she replied in a mumble. After some silence Karin got enough nerves to speak up. "I don't mean to pry, but what had made you in such a bad mood that you would have to apologize?" as she asked this, she looked up into his eyes and they slowly wandered back to the birds. Smiling nervously her ears slightly drooped.

Blake kept his gaze behind him in hopes of seeing Reia appear from those trees to see the beauty that both him and Karin shared at that very moment. He wanted her to see such amazing things, wanted her to taste the beauty that the nature did really hold. He bit his lip in worry as Karin spoke of not necessarily knowing where Reia had run off to. He was eager to run off behind him, he hoped she was hurt or injured but didn’t at the same time want to be a fatherly figure to her. But he didn’t want to seem like he didn’t care, there were two way she could go and decided to wait for just a few more moments and converse with Karin for right now Karin was in his presence and she was his responsibility. He would just wait a bit longer before going off to look for the fae that he sincerely cared for just like any female that had some common sense and knowledge on their shoulders.
He turned his head gently and parted his kissers to reply to her question, what had made him in that bad mood? He knew partly, he knew he was defiant around males but why he did not know. It was most likely how he had grown up, he had grown up with darks torturing his mother and himself, and more males than females had done so in that dark pack anyway. But he had just met this fae and figured that she didn’t want a novel to be told to her about such details as to why he had been in such a horrid mood, why he had been so bitter and why he had been so rash. But he did know if Finn told Karin of Blake’s doings she would see him very differently, she would see him as something that she couldn’t respect in any shape or form. He opened his mouth futher in attempt to answer her questions and no words seem to flow but he gave it an effort. “Many things,” he said turning his head to face her and then a soft chuckle came from his lungs.
He waited a few more moments, this probably hadn’t answered her question at all and at such a young age one wanted answers to their questions, not a riddle to question even more about. “That probably didn’t answer it did it,” he asked a soft breeze once again falling through his fur and making a satisfying moan escape from his lips. “To be honest….I’m defensive for my territory, a lot of things had troubled me that day, it had been the first day to claim these territories. I had ventured out of them to see another male come near me….I just simply said things I shouldn’t have, simply put,” he said shrugging his shoulders hoping that this would aid her. “I acted wrongly, I was bitter, rude, and arrogant, something that really I’m not, and truly I’m not. This is the real Blake that you see before you. Sometimes a dark persona seems to cover over my face in the form of a mask and hides me from the world and controls me, such things I can’t explain, but such times are when I’m pressured, or uncomfortable.” He looked to her embarrassed figure, her ears drooping, she hadn’t done anything wrong to have such a stance but he knew that she was shy just by how she said things and what she did, how she stood, and how she said what she said. “Don’t be shy to ask any questions, an old quote that I particularly like to go by is, there’s no stupid questions, only the questions that aren’t asked….are stupid…which contradicts itself a bit doesn’t it? Oh well, I was just attempting to get you to ask me more questions and not be afraid to talk to me, talk Karin, talk!”

Karin kept her gaze up at the sky and at the birds that inhabited it. She did not worry as much as Blake when it came to Reia. She knew her as a stronger fae then herself and there was not much trouble she could get into when it came to being in her own lands...slightly. She glanced back at Blake as he spoke and broke the silence. She did not speak but ratherly looked up at him confusingly. Then he spoke again with his question of his unhelping statement. And she quickly shook her head. Quickly agreeing to him. When he began to speak Karin averted her gaze elsewhere. But her ears tilted slightly in his direction, making sure he knew she was listening. Afterall ignoring was rude.
She listened intently and nodded her head at some way or another. Claiming of new land and being rude to Finn, the mask that she knew all too well. Though she wondered how differently she acted without her mask...it was hard to say for her. She had thought that after his explenation was through, that they would bask in another few minutes of silence, but he surprised her of speaking about not being shy of asking questions. She looked up at him in a startled look. Her face flushed as he continued to almost babble about stupid questions and then she felt like she would jump off the side of the hill and roll into the depths of hell as he mentally nudged her to speak her mind.
It seemed anything at all would please him. She parted her lips as if to speak. Clamping it shut almsot as quickly. She kept her mouth shut with brute force and she didn't know what to say. But she could at least tell him why she didn't speak as much. "I-it's hard." she muttered. Her face the deepest shade of red she thought possible. "You never know if what you say will offend another. So it's better to just stay quiet." she explained more to herself them him. Her eyes were vaguely on the ground and she watched her paws as her body shifted uncomfortably. It was better to only speak when completely necessary...

Pelt shifted and rippled as the small fatale moved across the grounds, pads of her paws gently pushing aside the blades of grass beneath her weight. Her pace had originally begun as one by which she could easily keep up with Karin and Blake, but as her mind wandered it had gradually slowed.. A clouded, pained look had come into her golden eyes as she had run over the previous conversations with Blake in her mind, as she came to some conclusions.
Somehow, some way, she would have to make him understand that she was not just some little pup. She was only a yearling, yes, but she had lived her lilfe in such a way that she wasn't fool enough not to know her own emotions, her own wants. But it seemed she had been fool enough to let fear lead her. And it had not guided her where she wanted to be. Her fear-she was sure- had made him see her as nothing but a silly little female, a responsibility, and maybe even a friend.
At last she came across the two of them, the sight of all the eagles stealing her breath. The birds were so majestic and beautiful..Such magnifacent flying creatures. Bold and beautiful... Things that Reia didn't think she could ever be. But she was determined to try, to do her best to get what she wanted, even if she might make more of a fool of herself. It would be worth it. She hoped. Stepping up toward Blake and Karin, she gave them both a quiet smile of greeting, but didn't interrupt their conversation.

Blake smirked at her response, maybe it was better to say nothing rather than put other’s feelings at stake. He looked out over the field, what would it be like if no one said anything unless it was absolutely necessary, what if the world was nothing but silence because everyone was afraid to put feelings on the line? He looked out over the world his ears erect to hear all the sounds, what if they weren’t there, if no one communicated. “Sometimes you have to take the chance of putting other’s feelings on the line Karin,” he said his smile being cast onto her. He looked over the nature around them; you’d have to be crazy not to want to share your opinion with another, how you felt about everything. He turned his head back to her, “You have to want to get your opinion out, don’t worry about hurting me Karin, say whatever you want,” he said nodding silently and then heard a sound behind them both.
He snapped his head backwards and took a step to block Karin from anything that was disrupting them, his fangs were viewable for moments and then his lips closed around them to see it was Reia. Instead his maw curved in a smile to see her standing there, so quiet and innocent in attempt to not interrupt his and Karin’s conversation. She looked a bit upset and his face immediately turned into a concerned look for her. He opened his mouth to ask what the issue was but decided against it. He moved his eyes to Karin and smirked, he now knew how she felt, maybe it was better not to say anything to Reia, her feelings might be broken. He moved his gaze back out to the eagles and then back to Reia to see the amazement in her eyes, he was so glad that she was okay. He called out to the birds with his thoughts, they all seemed to pay attention to him, they all seemed to lower their volume, one of the mighty birds turned it’s head around to Blake and Blake moved his head low to the ground in respect. His eyes returned to the mighty bird and with a simple movement of it’s own nodded in approval. The mighty bird let out a call to all the birds, letting them know that the wolves would be within their territory. Blake trusted these birds, they had accepted them to let them run with them and he trusted the fact they would attack. He looked back to Karin and Reia, “How would you two like to run with them,” he asked raising his eyebrows and looking out over the valley ahead.

Reia eyed Blake thoughtfully when he bared his fangs as she approached, an almost amused light flaring breifly behind the pensive, disturbed look in her golden eyes. Though the eagles had breifly distracted her they couldn't totally distract her for long with Blake there. Another quiet smile curved her muzzle in response to his smile, but it didn't last long. She just couldn't seem to be as cheerful as normal, her mind faraway and thoughtful.
Hearing his question, she blinked once and summoned another smile, intrigued with the idea of running with the eagles. Nodding her head slightly, she responded almost enthusiastically. "That would be great."she smiled, "Right Karin?"she added, abruptly removing her gaze from Blake and back to her friend.

((Sorry crappy post))
Blake turned his whole body back to face Reia and Karin, the amusement in both of their eyes he could see obviously. He looked at Karin and hoped she would be eager, he hoped both of them wouldn’t look at him like he was crazy. Then he heard Reia’s interested vocals: that would be great. He smiled to joy and looked back to the fluttering birds who were eager for their experience with the wolves. Part of him figured that they were just as eager as he was; the birds were just as eager to get their wings to flutter above them and around them, just as much as Blake and Reia were eager to run alongside them. He looked to Karin who hadn’t said anything about them but he had seen her amazement as she had looked out at them, Blake was almost certain that she would agree to go out there and interact with these birds. Blake took a leap forward a call of warning coming to all the eagles that swarmed around them. A few were on the ground, their bodies just calling to Blake as he sped down the steep hill. Three or four of them were just hunched there, their wings expanded in preparation of Blake to interrupt them. He smiled and barked; his body flew in the air and jumped into the group. He looked up to the sky to see them all fluttering in the air and he chased them.
His head was raised as he looked above him after they flapped and was rising in the air. The leader of the birds called to them, squawking and flapping in the middle, daring Blake to even try to catch up with them. It was like a show down, he stepped in the middle of the field; all the birds seemed to part away so Blake and their leader could have a friendly race of some sort. The bird soared near Blake and wrapped behind him and then let out another squawk and Blake was off. The bird soared over head, the shadow was cast down on him, making the sleek black body of the wolf seem to be flying, the mighty wings moving against the ground. Blake looked up as it seemed that Blake was losing but he kept up. The bird kept going; his wings pounding harder now and soon was ahead of Blake for only a moment. Blake jumped ahead and howled as he jumped ahead once more and won the battle. Blake’s heart was pounding inside of his chest and he fell to the grass, his tongue fell out of his mouth as he was panting so hard, the beginning of the summer heat fell on him and he immediately became dizzy and woozy, everything seemed to be spinning around him.

Karin stayed quiet as he spoke. Deciding to just listen and not answer. It was rather curious as to him. He actually wanting to here her childish voice that dared not mature at all through the days. And she found her voice too childish for her liking. 'I guess that's another reason I don't talk that much' she figured. She jumped as Blake came behind her and she zipped around. She quickly relaxed and let out a breath she had not noticed holding in.
It was Reia. Oh, god she scared her. But now it was okay. She watched them in silence. Giving Reia a warm and welcome smile. Then they began to speak of joining the birds. That made Karin jump again. "Wha?!" she asked in disbeleif. She stood and looked at both of them, as if not sure she heard right. She slowly calmed down and shook her head. "I hate running. It wastes too much energy when you need it." she responded. Explaining what she knew of. She knew it was fun but she had not have that time for such things deep in the woods all by herself.
Never knowing if something is watching. Waiting to attack. The thought gave Karin shivers and she sat down on her haunches to prove that she was not going out there. She watched as Blake ran out. Sighing and letting out a breath she knew she didn't want to come out as pants. Burning her chest and barely being able to speak. She didn't like running for those reasons.

Reia pouted slightly at the idea that Karin didn't want to join them, but the instinct and want to run with Blake, and to run among the birds was strong and insistent. But she also didn't want to leave her friend behind. After a breif tug-o-war of her thoughts, paws carried the small female after Blake into the midst of the birds. The beating of wings was rhythmic and entrancing, capturing the female's attention even as she sought to catch up to the ebony male among the birds.
She ran and ran as quickly as her legs would carry her, wobbling slightly as she tried to gain speed and move through the throng of moving beings. At last, she saw Blake tumble to the grass panting, and her pace slowed gradually as she came up to his side. Tired from trying to keep up, she dropped down next to him and nudged his paw with her nose. "Have fun?"she asked him breathlessly. ((Yuck post.))

Blake laid comfortably in the grass, a few birds flew by him occasionally but none of them gave him more than a look of interest or one of irritation for coming onto their lands. But he didn’t mind, he was having the time of his life and he didn’t have a problem with such looks. He shook his head firmly as his breathing was slowly becoming regular once again, he could take in a breath without feeling like his lungs were going to collapse at any moment which was a good thing. A soft summer breeze pulled against the grasses and at his fur as he lay down on his back and looked up at the sky. His tail moved gently underneath of him in pleasure of all the creature around him and the beauty that took such a hold on him. He shifted his head quickly to see Reia quickly approaching. His tongue was sucked back into his mouth and he moved to his stomach and he lifted to his haunches as she continued to approach. He tilted his head as she spoke; asking if he was having fun. “Of course,” he said smirking and playfully attempting to nip her for swatting at him. “Such a beautiful place,” he said after a few more moments, looking out and knowing that was so much in the world that was still yet to be seen, so much beauty that was hidden behind the trees and the brush. He turned his head once again to Reia and noticed how close she was. His head slowly began to move towards hers he was thinking that he was going to press his muzzle against hers, give her a small lick, but instinctively he pulled his head backwards and his gaze traveled back to the birds. “It…really is,” he said exhaling softly.

Karin laid down in a more comfortable postion. She really loved this hill. It was rather high and she could see rather far below herself. She let out a wide yawn and curled up. Making sure she could watch the other two who decided to waste some energy. Karin never had a lot of energy to begin with. She watched as they ran, she watched as the slowed and just watched the birds. She even watched as Blake stopped himself from making a move on Reia. Karin let a knowing smile grow across her maw. She looked up at the birds and bathed in the sights and beauty around her.
This was great. Almsot silence...if you don't vount the squawking of birds. A perfect place to keep your eyes off the others around you. Karin laid her head on her paws and her light brown orbs continued to watch the sky, but further more, do nothing. She let a content sigh escape her maw as bird after bird swooped after each other in a small game of tag.

Reia's gaze stayed fixed upon Blake as he spoke, ears tilted up to listen to his words, smiling warmly as he nipped at her for nudging him. Grinning, she swatted a paw at him gently for a second time, then let it rest and simply remained settled. "It is."she agreed easily to his words about the place's beauty. It really, truly was, and she was honored to be able to see it, to even know it was there. And though she knew that they should probably return to Karin soon, she couldn't really muster the will to say anything about it yet. As intent upon him as she was, she noticed when his head moved toward hers and then jerked back suddenly. With only the smallest of exasperated huffs, she reached out and gently licked his cheek. The gesture was timid but warm and affectionate, quickly gone as her gaze fixed carefully on him, awaiting his reaction with carefully blank features.
