Two humans made such a difference to the once populated areas of The Howling Domain. Two humans rode in on horses one smoggy afternoon with the winds blowing, they had come to explore, to see if the legends had been true, to see if this place really was populated by as many wolves as so many have said. They were not afraid, like they should have been. They settled into a campsite they made, their fire burning up the tree limbs they threw along with any brush that helped the fire grow. The fire scorched up into the sky, the wolves in that area abruptly looked to these creatures, cautiously and didn’t know what they were capable of. One small puppy, heir to the alpha moved away during the night from the pack towards the humans. The humans graciously opened their arms to the pup and fed him food resulting in the son of the alpha not wanting leave them. The mother, queen of The Howling Domain walked through the area, her voice calling for her pup. The two humans looked to her callings but paid not mind to her continuing to study the pup, his reactions and what he did. The mother entered the campsite, her eyes filled with blood as she entered and killed both of the humans and leaving their fire unattended. Soon enough the fire went out of control, spreading across the lands and killing many wolves and creatures that lived in that area. Even the queen and her son died in attempting to escape the fire’s clutches. Eventually the fire was tame and subsided, but it left corpses along the territory that eventually dissolved in the dirt never to be seen again. It is heard at times the calling of the mother wolf can be heard, she looks to be reunited with her pack, her small pup that she sacrificed her life for, by her side. The lands slowly started to recover and blossom, not many wolves decide to come back to these lands out of fear for the tales, out of fear the humans will come back again and that a repeat of the fire will happen. Resulting in this fact is many species of prey come here to seek refuge which is slowly starting to bring back the wolf numbers….this is The Howling Domain.

Blake still felt nervous as ever, he had acted immature and in his own ways, he had nearly taken advantage of a yearling…and he would never do that again. But he didn’t see any problem in becoming friends with her, and keep that friendship he most definitely would, he had run off just to make the distance that and to monitor the lands from anything threatening. He had yet to see Akara in a long span of time now, but Akara seemed perfectly capable, Reia seemed perfectly capable of taking care of herself as well. Blake let out a small sigh as he continued to walk, his paws moved effortlessly underneath of him as he traveled around his land, no one else’s land, but his land, no one was going to take it from him, he could depend on this land to be there when he woke up whenever his eyes opened, whether they had closed for any reason, when they opened he would have these lands. Blake tilted his head gently to see the cave once again in his vision, he decided that he needed to explain to Reia that it wasn’t her fault for his actions…when he had left he didn’t even think that she was the problem…it had all been his fault. He picked up his pace quickly and jumped over the various rocks that seemed to have been placed along the ground. He moved into the cave and stretched his head in, “Reia,” he whispered and he jumped up onto one of the large boulders. “REIA,” he shouted again, what if she was trapped inside of the cave. A worried whimper escaped his throat as he moved towards the back of the cave, but then her scent seemed to float in his direction. He turned around abruptly to see her familiar figure along with another fae. He tilted his head lightly and a relieved smile covered his maw and he moved out of the cave to approach them both. Maybe this fae was homeless and needed a place to stay, or maybe she already had a home, maybe Blake could get her to stay here instead, he needed all the faes he could muster. He approached them both and stopped a few feet away from them, his body toned down stood with no problem in a demanding yet friendly manner. He was to be known as the boss here, but that didn’t mean that he wasn’t friendly or wouldn’t have a good time. Reia already knew he was a good sport about having fun and what not. He lowered his head in a small nod to the other female after giving a comforting smile to Reia, “I need to talk to you later,” he directed to Reia in a easy going fashion…he decided now wouldn’t be the best thing to talk to her about mating in front of her friend. “I am dubbed Blake, and you miss,” he asked the other young fae, a comforting stance being shown through and through.

Karin stopped as the brute Blake came in view. She quickly became nervouse. Her knees began to shake and her tail seemed limp and layed against the ground. Her eyes were wide with anxiety and quickly they flashed down to her paws. Hearing the brute spoke her ears perked up high. Almost by instinct her head quickly lowered and almsot hit the ground. She was in a world of panic. "I-I'm Karin! I've heard so much-no, not that much but enough-from Reia and-" she stopped to quickly take in a deep breath. Her heart was drumming in her ears.

She brought he head up to look at Blake for the first time. Only to blush maddly in her shyness and stare back down at her paws. So that was Blake. 'Okay, I met him, now its time to ignore him.' she thought sarcastically. She could never ignore someone, maybe try and keep enough distance that she could act like she didn't see him. But to ignore would be rude and even though she already acted pretty rude with her eye avertion it stilll was not right. She tried to be best not to be rude. She tried to look Reia and Finn in the eyes. So she would have to try with Blake...maybe later.

Blake kept his eyes somewhat on Reia to see her reaction since the last time they had been in each other’s presence. It had been an uncomfortable time, and he was eager to such reactions from her…he wanted to make sure that she was still her own self. He tilted his head back in the direction of the other fae who was beginning to speak for the first time. It seemed that she was fairly nervous which could be expected when meeting someone new, especially that he now heard that Reia had told her a bit about him. Blake smirked; “Good things I hope,” Blake said chuckling slightly and blinking once and he gave her a comforting smile to try to soothe her nerves, to try to get her into her own element. “I’m very pleased to meet you Karin, you can stay as long as you’d like, my lands are yours for the taking, please, make them your home for as long as you need,” he said. Silence seemed to fill the air between them and still he had heard nothing from Reia, was she that upset that she wasn’t able to talk at all? His heart hammered in his chest as he looked at her, he had to remember…it wasn’t meant to be, a yearling was not meant to be the alpha female, a yearling was not meant to be with…him, but he just couldn’t stop the feelings that seemed to sweep over him every time that he came so close to her, he just had to hold them back. Blake attempted to push himself back into reality, to push him out of this daydreaming state that he shouldn’t have been in at any point anyway, not when he was the alpha. “Did you two just meet,” Blake asked his tongue falling out of his mouth and panting slightly from the heat the seemed to be just over the horizon. He could already feel the summer months coming and wasn’t looking forward to them, heat always put a damper to things.

Karin kept her eyes on the floor. She gulped nervously. Slowly she looked up at Blake. Giving him a small smile as he spoke, but then looked back on the floor. Her paws twisting in the dirt to face each other to ease her nerves as she shifted uncomfortably. Drowning in the silence until Blake spoke again. She nodded her head without really thinking. With him speaking of sharing his home. That was nice and all but she was only staying for a night.

The silence drowned more and more and her ears were perked high for any type of noise. ANYTHING!!! Karin almsot jumped at the sound of his voice once again. Asking his question Karin jumped at the chance to answer. "Well, sort of, yeah! Um, I kinda, really ran into her." she mumbled. Her ears drooping an inch. Her body was tense and she continued to gaze at the ground.

Blake nodded to hear that they had innocently run into each other, the two of them seemed quite made for each other friendship wise, why she was still uncomfortable Blake wondered why, he had hoped that she would feel more free to express herself at that point but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. She was really jumpy and Blake wondered why, had she experienced a pain in her life like Reia had, he wished he could help her out and her more social, he never wanted another being uncomfortable around him. “You seem nervous Karin….is there something wrong or something troubling you,” he asked taking a breath and looking at her in a concerned fashion. He looked to Reia, he was disappointed that she hadn’t talked yet, but she had managed to bring a friend to her own lands so clearly there wasn’t a huge problem between them.

Reia's ears twitched as she heard her name called from a distance, Blake's voice the one respnsible for the call. Coming to a halt next to Karin, she watched as he approached. Her expression was carefully blank to conceal her feelings, gold eyes calm as she watched him.
Hearing his words, she nodded lightly, wondering what he could possibly want to say now.
"Fine."she responded, alittle more coolly than she would have liked, but atleast she finally spoke.
Inwardly wincing at the telling tone, she forced a smile to curve her muzzle, soft and not quite warm, but more..pensive.
She didn't hate Blake and wasn't really mad at him, but she didn't understand his behavior and she felt silly for hoping..anything.
Of course she was too young for Blake, and her stupididty had proven that to him. He didn't want her like he said he had, he didn't have the patience for her.
All they were going to be was friends if he had his way, and Reia didn't know how to change his mind. She didn't have those sort of female wiles.
With a sigh, she dropped onto her haunches and turned her eyes to the trees in the near distance..

Karin took a quick glance at Reia. Frowning to see the way she was acting. It wasn't like she had before when they first met and she had rammed into her. By the way she's still sorry. Karin jumped hearing Blake speak to her through he thoughts. She turned toward him with a nervouse smile. Keeping her eyes always elsewhere. She gasped and shook her hed frantically while answering in an almost yelp. "N-no!! Nothing troubling or anything!! I'm sorry for making you think that way!" she replied in a panic. Karin finally stopped shaking her head and soon she had a large head ache. It pounded the sides of her head like her heart beat. Which was growing faster by the minute.

Karin's eyes slowly drifted to Blake's. Tensing up, she quickly turned to Reia. Who was investigating a tree. 'That tree looks like Kagome' she thought absentmindedly. And she wondered if Reia was naming the tree and talking to it. Him or her.

Blake frowned at Reia’s actions, she was very quiet and was acting a bit different. Not only that but this new young fae was a bit on the odd side with her action sbut he wouldn’t hold it against her, she seemed to be an averagely nice young one and could possibly one day serve as a great warrior or mother for her mate. Blake always seemed to act in such ways; he always seemed to look into the future before doing anything or saying anything for that matter. He hadn’t moments ago said anything to insult this wolf by questioning her behavior but had merely asked if anything was wrong. He always thought of the consequences before anything else which didn’t make him an overly exciting creature but alas he was what he was, he was a wolf and an alpha now.

He looked to the sky, a large bird flying towards them, the wing span beautiful and tremendous as it swooped over them, the wind being cast upon his black fur slowly moving into the strands and allowing them to sway like a field of grass that Blake had seen earlier that day when he had left the cave. He had seen such creatures at this place and he found such beauty in these creatures and they seemed to be able to calm him, it was if he was able to fly with such beautiful things and see the nature with them. He closed his eyes and heard the calling of the bird seemingly drawing him in and calling only to him. He opened his eyes once again to the young ones ahead of him, “Come I’ll show you a place you’ll both love,” he said turning on his heels and slowly beginning to trot after the eagle that had not too long ago had swooped down. Not only had these birds been able to calm him before, but now they were giving him so entertainment for the two girls, and especially this one fae that he truly cared about.
